Beverly Jean Kaufman, age 92, of Three Rivers, died Monday, October 17, 2022 at her home following a long illness. She was born in Three Rivers on Nov. 24, 1929 the daughter of Bernard A. and Irene M. (Coler) Rhodes and was a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. She was married to Manassas R. Kaufman on August 10, 1957 in Elkhart.
Beverly was a long-time employee of Three Rivers Hospital, working both at the old hospital building and the current location. After retirement she continued to volunteer with the Three Rivers Area Hospital Auxiliary. She was an active member of the Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene. Beverly was always on the go, and put others before herself and available to those in need. She was outgoing, and never met a stranger.
Beverly is survived by niece, Kippy (Jeff) Gibson and nephew, David “Skeet” Eggleston both of Three Rivers; several great-nieces and nephews; and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rockne in 1978; her husband, Manassas in 1985; and five siblings, Ben, Harvey, and Eric Rhodes, Roseann Logsdon, and Janet Eggleston.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted. A memorial service will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Rich Saunders officiating.
