County recognizes milestone employees

Fourteen St. Joseph County employees were recognized this week for milestone years of service.

Leading this year’s group were corrections sergeant Mason Stratton, custodian Michael Pahl and Kathy Griffin, circuit/probate court administrator. They are observing 25 years of employment.

Next on the seniority list were 20-year employees detective sergeant Brian Stears, and corrections officers Frank Metz and Luke Lori.

Three people were acknowledged for 15 years of service: Stacey Bower, 911 director; Kathleen Hughes, COA nutrition manager; and road patrol sergeant Jeremiah Abnet.

All others have worked for the county for 10 years: telecommunicator Kyle Murk, COA in-home HDM assessor Cassie Graber, chief assistant prosecuting attorney Josh Robare, corrections officer Paul Kindig and road patrol sergeant Timothy Barnes.
