Darley William Loomis went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Borgess Hospital after an ongoing battle with heart problems. He was born on June 1, 1957 in Three Rivers. He was the son of Robert and Beverly Loomis.
Darley attended the Three Rivers Bible Church and loved watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers, enjoyed camping, traveling and going on spontaneous adventures. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play at their sporting events. He married Jody Foghino in September 1977 later divorced, then married Teresa (Terri) Hartzell on February 28, 2004 and they spent many enjoyable years together.
Darley is survived by his wife Terri, Siblings Kim (Paula) Loomis, Yvonne Loomis, daughter Heather Lockwood, son Collin Loomis, bonus daughter Kelly (Joe) Singleton, stepdaughter Melanie (Brad) Morrill, Billy (Morgan) McGlothlen. Grandchildren Erish Edmisten, James Bowman, Summer and Savannah Morrill, Kaleb and McKinley McGlothlen. He had many bonus grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at Three Rivers Bible Church (220 N Erie St. Three Rivers) on Friday, October 14. Visitation starts at 11 AM with services to follow at 12 PM. Donations can be made to the Three Rivers Bible Church or charity of your choice in Darley’s remembrance.
