Fresh food distributions

Here’s a reminder that there is a Fresh Food Distribution event today in Sturgis.

First Presbyterian Church on Lakeview Avenue in Sturgis will be the site of the, starting at 4 p.m.

The Huss Project in Three Rivers will be the location of the subsequent distribution. It takes place starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at its property on 8th Street.

Three distributions will occur Oct. 20. The first at 10:30 a.m. at Gateway Village Apartments in Sturgis. Next, Mendon Community Schools will be involved 3 to 4:30 p.m. The day’s final distribution will be at 4:30 at Colon High School.

White Pigeon High School will be the site of the following distribution. It will occur at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

After that, two events will be offered on the same day to wrap up October. Constantine High School will host a distribution 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Oct. 27. Meanwhile, the Doyle Community Center in Sturgis will host a distribution the same day, starting at 4 o’clock.
