Irvin Yoder Jr., age 79 years 6 months and 13 days, of Colon, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Irvin was born on April 14, 1943 in Centreville, a son of the late Irvin L. and Rosa (Delegrange) Yoder.
Irvin worked at Vanguard in Colon for 40 plus years before retiring.
Irvin is survived by his wife Irene Yoder of Colon, children: Freeman (Irene) Yoder of Lancaster, WI, Rose Mary at home, Verne Jay (Nancy) Yoder of Bonaparte, IA, Marilyn (Alvin) Miller of Cisne, IL, Irvin Levi (Laura) Yoder of Bonaparte, IA, Raymond (Barb) Yoder of Bronson, Irma Sue Yoder at home, and Ruby Ann Yoder at home, 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren., siblings: Wilbur Yoder of Mendon, Merle Yoder of Bonaparte, IA, Tobe Yoder of North Vernon, IN, and Dena Sue Bontrager of Petoskey, WI.
Besides his parents Irvin and Rosa Yoder, Irvin was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Dean Yoder.
The Yoder family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, October 10, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 9:30 AM with home ministers officiating. Interment will take place in Leonidas at the Covey Road Amish Cemetery. Visitations and funeral services will take place at the Lamar Yoder Residence located at 31207 Orla Engle Road, Colon, Michigan 49040.
