A Three Rivers man is in custody in connection with an armed-robbery incident last week in Three Rivers.
Chief Scott Boling said officers were alerted to a possible armed robbery shortly after 11 a.m. Friday at a business in the 700 block of West Michigan Avenue.
Boling said the suspect obtained an unknown amount of currency, then fled the scene on a bicycle. An observant citizen took notice of the suspect and updated dispatch on the direction of travel.
Officers from multiple law-enforcement agencies established a perimeter but the suspect was not located. Several pieces of evidence, however, including clothing were recovered.
Later Friday, Three Rivers Police Department established probable cause for a suspect. A search warrant was served in the 100 block of East Michigan Avenue.
