Rose Mary Eggleston, age 78, of Marcellus, passed away February 3, 2021, at Edgewood Healthcare in Three Rivers.
Rose was born in Dowagiac on August 17, 1942 to Michael and Edith (Sibley) Krager.
On August 27, 1960 Robert Eggleston, Sr. and Rose Mary Krager were married in Dowagiac.
Bob proudly served in the United States Army for 3 years and was stationed in Germany during his service. Bob enjoyed spending his time gardening, farming, building, as well as telling his family and friends stories of his military days.
Rose was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family and raising her children.
Bob and Rose are survived by children; Robert Eggleston Jr. of Jones, Julie Rosen of Sturgis, Frank (Brenda) Eggleston of Marcellus, Archie Eggleston of Marcellus, Rodney Eggleston of Marcellus, son-in-law Zack Pendell of Marcellus; 9 grandchildren Jennifer (Ren) Hartung, Linda Rosen, Brian (Ashley) Rosen, Brandon, Travis Pendell, Erika, Nathan, Heidi, Rachel Eggleston; 9 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of life for Bob and Rose from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. October 22, 2022, at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Memorial Services to follow at 1:00 with Pastor Sheldon Combs officiating.
