Sturgis Elks celebrates anniversary with beautification project

Sturgis Elks Club celebrated its 100th anniversary last year and members decided to take on a beautification project outside the lodge to mark the milestone.

Money was raised and the goal of $10,000 was met. Club members met last week to dedicate new statues that are part of the project.

Elks members said there is still work to be done and funds will continue to be raised for beautification purposes.
