Warren P. Ash, age 80, of Colon, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 in Sturgis, at NuCare Assisted Living.
Warren was born on December 11, 1941, in Coldwater, a son to the late Maynard and Virginia (Steele) Ash.
Warren attended and graduated from Sturgis High School.
On November 12, 1971, Warren married his wife of 37 years, Judith C. Pokorny in Colon. She would precede Warren in death on July 22, 2009.
Warren is survived by his sons: John (Lori) Ash of Sturgis, Mike (Jobi) Ash of Angola, and Brian Ash of Colon, a brothers Mike Ash, and Ronnie Ash, a sister Carolyn Roach, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Maynard and Virginia, Warren was preceded in death by his wife Judith Ash, and his sisters: Barb Klawinski, and Connie Stoll.
The Ash family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, also at the Schipper Funeral Home, beginning at 1:00. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations to be made to the American Red Cross, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
