Larry Kemp, 72

Larry A. Kemp, age 72, of Constantine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30th, 2022 at South Bend Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

He was born on July 25th, 1950 in Constantine to the late Monroe and Katie (Miller) Kemp.

Larry spent most of his life in Constantine and played football in high school, later working as a supervisor at Fiber Pro and Med Tech, where he manufactured ambulances.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, bonfires, two-tracking and hunting. He was an avid football fan and could often be found cheering on his favorite teams, the Chicago Bears and University of Michigan Wolverines (Go, Blue!).

He is survived by his children, Larry Kemp of Elkhart , Bob (Amy) Kemp of Three Rivers, Katie (Rob) Gross of South Bend, and Scott (Laura) Kemp of White Pigeon, as well as brothers Roman, Andy, Simon, Richard and Kenneth, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his loyal dog, Gizmo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Monroe and Ron.

The family will receive friends at Farrand Funeral Home, 300 N. Kalamazoo St. White Pigeon, Michigan, on Thursday, Nov. 3rd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm.

Funeral services will be held at Firm Foundation Ministries , 651 E. Main Street, Centreville, on Friday, Nov. 4 at 11 am. Pastor Don Smith will preside.
