LuAnn Crossgrove, 64

LuAnn Crossgrove, age 64, of Centreville, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022. She was born in Galion, Ohio on Dec. 14, 1957 the daughter of Richard and Carol Lee (Dentler) Mains. When her mother, Carol married John Roe, LuAnn considered John to be her real Dad. LuAnn graduated from Three Rivers High School with the class of 1976. She worked several places in Three Rivers, most notably at Kentucky Fried Chicken and at The Rent-A-Center for 24 years. She was married to William “Bill” Crossgrove on Aug. 15, 1998. She then was nicknamed “Lu-C” or Lucy by her family and friends. Lucy and Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, travel, and trips to the casinos. She especially enjoyed hosting and cooking for family on Sunday evening and Holidays.

LuAnn is survived by her husband, Bill; four children, Todd Winnicki of Three Rivers, Haley Pierce of Kansas City, Adessa (Nate) Goss of Constantine, and Mallory (Kenneth) Schrock of Marcellus; five grandchildren, Maddie Suggs, Alex Goss, Jaxson Goss, Christopher Andrews, and Saydie Andrews; several grand-dogs; three brothers, Richard (Becky) Mains, Michael (Regina) Mains, and Roger (Dodee) Mains; two sisters, Paula (Larry) Nichols, and Brenda (Tom) McWatters; four step-brothers, Donald (Caroline) Roe, David (Diala) Roe, Dale Roe, and Dean (Treva) Roe; step-sister, Dianna Teachnor; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Dennis and Randy Winnicki; and nephew, Chad Hunt.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2 pm Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. John Sears officiating. Cremation will follow services and interment will take place later in Parkville Cemetery.   1. I read your wife’s obituary. I am so sorry. Losing people we love regardless of the reason, hurts so much. I don’t know if you are religious but I am. With Faith I got through losing Jim.
