A collection of artwork created by a Glen Oaks Community College professor is on public display.

Michael Northrop’s “A Retrospective of 22 Years at the Oaks,” can be viewed at Flora Kirsch-Beck Art Gallery on the campus of Glen Oaks Community College.

School officials said the exhibit features 32 pieces, in addition to photos of other installations of art across the state.

The display showcases a range of Northrop’s work over the past 22 years while teaching as a professor at the college. It includes oil paintings, pastels, egg tempera, stained glass, blown glass and hand-drawn lithographs.

The exhibit is free and is open 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday, through Dec. 16. It will reopen again Jan. 11 through Feb. 1.
