A 61-year-old Florida man died in a crash between a pickup and semi tractor-trailer earlier this week in Mottville Township.
State police troopers were called around noon Tuesday to an area of U.S. 12 between White Pigeon and Mottville.
Investigators determined the driver of the pickup crossed the centerline and struck the semi head-on. The 53-year-old semi driver, an Indiana resident, was transported by LifeCare Ambulance to Three Rivers Health.
The 61-year-old Florida man was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said it is unknown if alcohol was a factor.
Seatbelts were used by both drivers.
