Darren L. Knowles, age 38, of Centreville, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 in Kalamazoo. He was born February 5, 1984 in Kalamazoo, a son of Jeffrey and Margaret (Blevins) Knowles. Darren graduated from Centreville High School in 2003 and attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.
Darren worked at XL Machine Company in Three Rivers and Tire Wholesalers Company Distributors in Kalamazoo. He was very bright and inquisitive and loved playing and watching football. Darren will always be remembered as having a great sense of humor, and enjoyed making his family and friends laugh.
Surviving are his father Jeffrey Knowles; mother Margaret Knowles, both of Centreville; sister September Knowles, Three Rivers; brother Nathan Knowles, Centreville; sister Madeleine (Ben) Bullock, Centreville; nieces Lauren Mae Knowles and Aurora Bullock; nephews Jaxson Jeffrey Lawrence and Lee Thomas Knowles; and grandmother Judy Knowles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Larry Knowles and Larry & Donna Blevins.
Friends will be received from 12 to 1PM Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Eley Funeral Homes in Centreville, where a Memorial Service will follow at 1PM. Pastor Noah Miller of Peace Community Church in Climax, MI will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Centreville Rocket Football Program.
