Jack Blanchard, 75

Jack Blanchard, age 75, a former longtime resident of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in St. George, Utah.

Jack was born August 20, 1947 in Sturgis, son of the late Carl and Ruth Blanchard.

Jack retired from Ross Laboratories following several years of dedicated employment and had also been employed by the Kirsch Company both in Sturgis.

He was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1966 and furthered his education at Glen Oaks Community College near Centreville.

Jack resided in Sturgis for 55 years and lived 20 years in Hurricane, Utah. He wanted to make his home where he enjoyed vacationing and pursue his love of photography.

He is survived by his wife: Gail who resides in Hurricane, Utah; sister: Ruth Ann (Charles) Sprowl of Sturgis as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Donald Blanchard, LeRoy Blanchard and Elwin Blanchard.

Jack had been battling leukemia for the past nine years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
