Jared James Tinsley, age 23, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his home.
He was born December 15, 1999 son of Keith and Kelli (Strang) Tinsley.
Jared was a lifelong Sturgis resident and graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 2018.
Jared had been employed by the Dairy Queen in Sturgis and Sturgis Hospital.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sturgis.
Jared enjoyed repairing and building computers, going for walks, cooking, and gaming, and loved spending time with his friends and niece and nephews.
He is survived by his parents: Kelli Strang of Sturgis and Keith and Tricia Tinsley of Elkhart; sisters: Megan Strang of Sturgis and Chloe Tinsley of Elkhart; brothers: Ryan Brouse of Sturgis and Lincoln Tinsley of Elkhart; grandparents: Victoria Strang of Sturgis and Jim and Deb Tinsley of Constantine; niece: Taylor and nephews: Jacob, Asher and Azekiel.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Steve Strang and uncle: Louie Strang.
In accordance with family wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 Saturday, Jan. 7th at the First Baptist Church in Sturgis were a memorial service celebrating the life of Jared Tinsley will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00. Mr. Mike Meese will officiate.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
