Mario Neives Avila, age 59, of Sturgis, passed away early Sunday morning, January 29, 2023 at his home.
He was born August 22, 1963 in Zinapecuaro, Michoacan, Mexico.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00, Wednesday, February 1st at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, 402 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis where the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be prayed at 7:00 Wednesday evening. The Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Mario Nieves Avila will begin at 2:00 Thursday at the church. A graveside committal will follow the Mass at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
