Sharon Elaine Woodman, age 61, of Colon, passed away Friday evening, December 30, 2022 at her home.
She was born August 15, 1961 in Sturgis, daughter of the late Darwin N. and Mary Lee (Robbins) Woodman.
Sharon was a lifelong Colon resident and graduate of Colon High School with the class of 1980.
Sharon was a 37 year dedicated employee of Colmer Division of Maxitrol in Colon.
She attended the Sturgis Evangelical Church in Sturgis.
Sharon enjoyed knitting and crocheting especially baby blankets, coloring, collecting jewelry, and time spent at the family cabin in Wellston. Sharon loved time spent with her family and cherished time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter: Amanda Fields of Colon; son: Collin Fields of Colon; granddaughter: Harmony Fields; sisters: Laura (Steve) Soule of Sturgis and Julie Webb of Colon; half-sisters: Jamie Palma and Cindy Woodman both of Florida; half-brother: James French of Sturgis; nieces and nephews: Evan Webb, Caitlin (Kelly) Anzaldua and Steven, Jackie, Tim and Rebecca French.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughters: Rachel and Rebecca.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday, January 4th, at the Sturgis Evangelical Church, 28201 E. Fawn River Rd. in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the life of Sharon Elaine Woodman will be held at 11:00 Thursday, January 5th. Pastor Troy Diersing will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at the Lakeside Cemetery in Colon.
