Wire stolen in Calhoun County

Michigan State Police troopers are investigating the larceny of cable and wire from an electrical substation in Calhoun County’s Sheridan Township.

Investigators said the theft occurred between 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday in the area of F Drive North and 26 Mile Road.

Authorities said the electric cable and wire were taken from several spools stored at the substation.
