Anna Jean Mohney, age 88, of Marcellus, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Three Rivers.
She was born in Kalamazoo on October 14, 1934 the daughter of John C. Farquhar and Rosa Elizabeth Farquhar.
On August 12, 1961, in Bayport, Michigan she married James G. Mohney, who preceded her in death.
Anna Graduated from Marcellus High School in 1955, and was a member of National AARP.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing with her nieces and nephews, and loved her poodles.
Anna is survived by sister, Elaine (Tad) Jameson of Lansing; brother, Bill (Marsha) Farquhar of Portage; brother-in-law John (Judy) Mohney of Portland, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews and special friend Delores Neely of Three Rivers.
Anna was preceded in death by husband, James; parents;, John and Rosa Farquhar; sister, Iona Shelly; brother, John (Catherine) Farquhar; and sister in law, Anna Mohney.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, 52780 M-40 North, Marcellus. Funeral services will follow at 1:00, with Pastor Tad Jameson of Calvary Baptist Church of Lansing officiating. Burial will follow at Marcellus Bly Cemetery.
