Jose Maria Camacho, age 55, of Sturgis, passed away late Wednesday evening, March 15, 2023 at his home.
He was born June 26, 1967 in El Pedregal, Michoacan, Mexico, son of Salvador Camacho Pudilia and Maria Luiza Bucio Flores.
Jose resided in Sturgis for the past 20 years, coming from California, and his early life was lived in Mexico.
For the past four years he had been working at Morgan Olson in Sturgis and he had also been employed by Hallmark Trailers and Diamond Specialty Vehicles, both in Middlebury.
He is survived by his mother; two sisters; five brothers and many nieces and nephews.
His father preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 Monday evening, March 20th, at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Road in Sturgis. The Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Jose Camacho will begin at 11:00 Tuesday morning, March 21st, at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis. The Rev. Father Andrew Raczkowski celebrant. A graveside committal will follow the Mass at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
