An Indiana man died in a head-on crash earlier this week in Mottville Township.
State police troopers responded around 9 p.m. Wednesday to U.S. 12 and Vistula Road in response to a two-vehicle crash.
Investigators said a car driven by 41-year-old Eric Herald, of Indiana, was traveling east on U.S. 12 when it crossed the center lane. The car struck a westbound semi-tractor trailer head-on and caught fire.
The semi was driven by a 47-year-old man from Ontario, Canada. He was uninjured.
Authorities said Herald died at the scene.
