Janet Webster, 65

Janet E. Webster, age 65, of Sturgis, passed away early Sunday morning, April 2, 2023 at Optalis Health and Rehab in Three Rivers.

She was born July 27, 1957 in Niles, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Spain) Grahm.

Janet resided in Sturgis for the past 36 years coming from Three Rivers. Her early life was spent in Niles where she was a graduate of Niles High School with the class of 1976.

On July 21, 1996 she married Jeffrey Webster in Niles.

Janet had been employed by Harding’s East grocery store and the Dollar Tree both in Sturgis.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards and board games and was a very loyal fan of the Detroit Lions. Janet had hobbies and interests but what she truly loved was time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband: Jeffrey; children: Amber (Michael Wooten) Webster of Sturgis, Travis (Krystal) Webster of Vermont and Travis (Meadow) Harker of Sturgis; her 10 grandchildren that she cherished: Mikayla, Kylie, Abby, Parker, Maverick, Beckett, Jacob, Eliot, Gabriel and Kaylee; sisters: Helen (Kirk) Mackling and Ruth (Steve) Clanton both of Niles; brothers: Kenneth (Michele) Grahm of South Bend, Indiana and William (Nancy) Grahm of Edwardsburg and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 Thursday, April 6th, at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow the visitation.
