Two people were charged with drug- and weapons-related offenses following an incident earlier this week in Lockport Township.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman said deputies responded shortly before 6 p.m. Monday to a location in the 18000 block of South River Road. Authorities were advised a female suspect fired a handgun near a residence while in the midst of a dispute.
Officers from the Three Rivers Police Department eventually located the suspect in the 800 block of North Main Street.
A search warrant was executed at the Three Rivers residence. Authorities found evidence related to the Lockport Township incident, along with additional evidence of narcotics and weapons violations.
A 36-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man, both from Three Rivers were charged with multiple offenses.
