Jo Anne Halifax, age 88, of Paw Paw, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at home.
She was born in Chicago on April 17, 1935 the daughter of Theodore Sandberg and Ruby Lannon.
Jo Anne was a CPA, owned her own tax business, and retired in Florida.
Jo Anne enjoyed playing cards twice a week playing Euchre and Cribbage, watching old westerns, especially John Wayne, and going out to Chinese with her son.
Jo Anne is survived by her sons: Charles (Carla) Halifax of Oxford, Richard (Lori) Halifax of Schoolcraft, Stephen of Marcellus, 4 grandchildren; 6 greatgrandchildren, 6 great-greatgrandchildren, brothers; John (Linda) Sandberg of Florida, Kenneth (Shiela) Sandberg of North Dakota.
Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Ruby Sandberg, and 1 grandchild.
