Philip K Hoopes, Jr, age 82, of Venice, Florida died on Friday, May 26, 2023 following a short illness.
He was born on June 27, 1940 in Goshen, the Son of Philip K and Freda (Juday) Hoopes Sr.
Veteran of The US Air Force, member of The US Amateur Roller Skating Assc., St. Joseph County Dive team, and Tri-State Locomotive Club. Resident of Venice the past 21 years coming from White Pigeon. Employed 31 Years for Reese Products, retired in 2001. Married to Carol Barczak – they were later divorced.
Philip is survived by his Children, Melanie (Brian) Atherton, Michael (Lisa) Hoopes, Eric (Kim) Hoopes, 5 Grandchildren, Sister Juday (Bob) Long, 3 Nephews.
Preceded by Son, Henry, and Parents.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at The Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where services will begin at 1:00.
