Glen Oaks Community College is offering a program that will give incoming students a jump-start on college English and math.
“Ready, Set, Go!” is a down-to-basics program being offered 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 31 through Aug. 3.
College officials said the first three days will cover English, math, resources and support services. The fourth day will be a celebration of accomplishment, with costs and transportation covered for an outing at Airway Lanes in Portage.
There are 40 spots available and a $500 stipend could be available for those who participate in all four of the sessions.
