Tom Cutler, 63

Thomas Jay “Tom” Cutler, age 63, of rural Three Rivers, died Monday, May 1, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born in Three Rivers on Oct. 28, 1959 the son of Leal S. Cutler and Betty L. (Cooley) Cutler and was a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. Tom graduated from Three Rivers High School, and worked as an installer for a local asphalt company. He was a “Mr-Fix-It” and enjoyed working on any broken object, especially cars. He loved fishing on The Old St. Joe, and attended the Newberg-Norton Baptist Church.

Tom is survived by his sister, Diane Cutler-Haskell (Thomas Murphy) of Grand Rapids; nieces, Heather Haskell and Meghan Lopez; great nieces, Gabriella and Alea; great-nephew, Marshall; and many, many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother-in-law, Larry J. Haskell.

A private interment will be in Peek Cemetery and a celebration of Tom’s life is being planned for later. It is suggested that memorial donations in Tom’s name be directed to the Newberg-Norton Baptist Church, 11256 Hoffman Road, Marcellus, MI 49067.
