Centreville school board extends superintendent’s contract

Centreville Public Schools Superintendent Chad Brady received an encouraging evaluation of his first year as the district’s highest-ranking employee.

Brady was named interim superintendent in February 2022 and landed the job full time last June.

In other action Monday, the board renewed contracts of its administrative team: Cathy Carpenter, MTSS administrator; Jill Peterson, athletic director; Jane Rumsey, human resources and executive assistant; Barb Lester, curriculum director; Matt Blue, maintenance and custodial director; Amanda Shirey, transportation supervisor; Terra Koenig, school therapist; Dennis Kirby, elementary principal; and Aaron Hartong, jr./sr. high principal.
