Alcohol appears to be a factor in a two-vehicle crash last week in Lockport Township.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman said deputies were called shortly before midnight Friday to M-60, just east of Oakwood Drive, in response to a personal-injury crash.
Investigators said a 46-year-old woman from Three Rivers was driving west on M-60 with the vehicle’s headlights off when her vehicle crossed the center line while navigating a curve and collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle driven by a 48-year-old woman from Colon.
The Three Rivers woman was airlifted to Bronson Hospital for serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. The Colon woman and her 25-year-old son were transported to Borgess Hospital for serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Investigators said based on evidence at the scene, alcohol appears to be a contributing factor on the part of the Three Rivers woman.
