Search continues for missing TR woman

St. Joseph County Sherriff’s office has issued an update on the search for a Three Rivers woman missing since last week.

Marilee Furlong, 73, was last seen shortly before 9 a.m. May 29 around Flatbush Road in Flowerfield Township.

Deputies on Friday continued their search in the area Furlong was last seen. The search included patrols on foot, by vehicle and drone.

On Saturday, the Michigan Professional Search and Rescue team aided in the effort with the assistance of K-9 units, volunteers on horseback, and authorities who surveyed the area on foot, by vehicle and with drones.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department has been working with counterparts in Cass County, as search locations are occurring inside their jurisdiction.
