Andy Jones “Frog” Jr., age 91, of Three Rivers, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 18, 1931 in Bald Knob, Arkansas, the son of Andy” Daddy ”Jones Sr. and Myrtle “Movo” Davidson.
Andy served his country in the United States Navy.
Andy retired from Fibre Converters.
On August 10, 1968 Andy married Barb Kendler; they enjoyed 55 years together.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Jones; children, Mike (Deb) Jones of Three Rivers and Francis Jones of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother Gene Jones; sisters, Beth Heckenberg, Joyce Gearheart and Jo Captain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim Jones; sister, Fayette “Shorty” Stokes; and brothers Lynn Jones and Dole Jones.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 beginning at 11:00 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold Street, Three Rivers, Michigan. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 at the funeral home with brother Nick as the officiant.
