Conchita Duron, 86

Conchita Duron, age 86, of Centreville, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 10, 1937 the daughter of Antonioand Magdalena (Cortez) Duron.

Raised in the Catholic Church, she later joined the Baptist faith.For many years she resided in the Grand Rapids area where she worked at Robert Halls and was a seamstress at Cutlers.

Conchita is survived by daughters, Maria (Steve) Rambadt and and Connie Martinek; son, Domingo Duron; grandchildren, Jennifer and Daniel Martinek, James Fisk, and Ronnie Duron; siblings, Richard, Rosa, and Tony. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guadalupe; and sister, Olivia.

Maria’s tribute: “In my mother’s life of sacrifice to her family, adhering to communicate with God. In the environment of many hardships, unable to understand, sometimes our many trials and tribulations. May God bless her soul. In her hard labor of work and many sicknesses, her peaceful entrance into God’s kingdom has come. I want and pray my God says to her “into my kingdom you come, my faithful servant.” That I love and understand why and what you have went through. I love you very much. We all had a different journey that no one can understand. Only God Himself. To a most wonderful mother, enter into God’s arms. We shall miss you, but will be with you again. Peace always”.

A graveside service will take place at 11 am Monday, July 31, 2023 in Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville with Rev. Rich Saunders, Pastor of the Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene officiating.
