James Michael Shea, age 72, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 16, 1951 in Newark, N.J., the son of Robert C. and Vivian C. (Fox) Shea, and graduated from Constantine High School with the Class of 1970.
James served his country in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1972.
He worked at many different jobs before his retirement at an early age due to health issues.
James was united in marriage to Charlene Zimmerman on May 27, 1989. Together they loved to go camping and James also enjoyed hunting and target shooting. He was also a member of the Three Rivers Elks B.P.O.E., Three Rivers Eagles #2303, and the Three Rivers Moose Lodge.
He was a loving and caring person who will be deeply missed.
Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife, Charlene Shea.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Vivian Shea, and stepfather, Dick Kinney.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted; a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
