Dale Thomas Lough, age 69, a lifelong Sturgis resident, passed away on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023 in LaGrange.
He was born June 6, 1954 in Sturgis, a son to the late Roy F. and Agnes (Bupp) Lough.
In February of 1974 he married JoAnn Milhahn at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis.
Dale had been employed by Formed Tubes and Rood Industries in Sturgis, and after retirement, worked for Bill Mains out of LaGrange.
He was a member of the Sturgis Eagles and Sons of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, fixing cars, and was a great handyman.
Surviving are his wife: JoAnn; children: Susan K. Lough and Thomas Charles (Marci Mandigo) Lough all of Sturgis, MI; three grandchildren: Kylie Sue Sterner, Mary Kay Lough, and Braden Thomas Lough; one sister: Frances (Rex) Engle of Shipshewana, IN.
He was preceded by his parents and a brother: Joe Lough.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Dale T. Lough will be held at a later date to be announced.
