Penny Lisa Caruthers, age 58, of Sturgis, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at her home.
She was born January 12, 1965 in Three Rivers, daughter of Carolyn Caruthers.
Penny resided in Sturgis for over 25 years coming from Three Rivers where she was a graduate of Three Rivers High School.
She was a homemaker and devoted mother.
Penny enjoyed working with her computer, her many collections, and drawing. She loved time spent with her family especially when they were just hanging out watching movies. Her cooking and funny side always having a joke to tell will be forever missed.
She is survived by her daughter: Kristen Caruthers of Sturgis; son: Kristopher Callender of Tennessee; granddaughter: Octavia Jane Davis; mother: Carolyn Kimble of Sturgis; brothers: Thomas Kimble and Shannon Kimble, both of Three Rivers and sister: Taya Alexander of Battle Creek.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Kassidy Irene Davis and step-father: Thomas Kimble.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
