Stacy Mae Ramsey, age 38, of Mishawaka, and a former longtime resident of Sturgis, passed away late Saturday evening, August 5, 2023 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born November 16, 1984 in Giddings, Texas. Her parents were the late Marilyn (Lipscomb) Ramsey and James “Pat” Jacobs.
Stacy resided in Mishawaka for the past two years coming from Sturgis where she lived most of her life.
She was currently employed by the Hampton Inn in South Bend. She had also worked at ARK in LaGrange, Exos in Howe, and Sturgis Molded Products and Penguin Iceberg Enterprises, both in Sturgis.
She enjoyed painting and loved time with her family, especially her children.
She is survived by her children: Layson, Kaylynne Mae, Liam and Matthew; sisters: Jessica Leonard of Sturgis and Jana Starr LeBeau of Texas; niece and nephews: Michael, Katrina Starr, Jeffrey Ryan and Jackson; aunts: Brenda Montufar and Louise Parker; uncles: Jeffrey Lipscomb, Jerry Lipscomb and Larry Lipscomb and many cousins.
She was preceded by her mother: Marilyn K. Sword, My Friend Jeremy and her grandparents.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis.
