Three people injured in Branch County

Three people were injured after a tire on the car they were in blew out last week in Branch County’s Butler Township.

State police said the incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Clarendon Road. The vehicle went off the road, down an embankment and struck a tree, authorities said.

No information was provided about the three people in the car, though they were treated at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
