Dale Crow, 66

Dale Crow, age 66, of Milton, Florida died on September 3, 2023 while visiting family in Michigan.  She was born in Pensacola, Florida on February 9, 1957 the daughter of Lois I. (Kennedy) Stokes and she lived most of her life in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Dale graduated from Milton High School with the class of 1975. She met the love of her life, Terry C. Crow of Milton at the age of 14. They went on to be married in April of 1977 and spent the next 41 years together until his death in 2018. Dale was a homemaker and worked for some time at the local Walmart Snack Bar. If you visited her at the snack bar you knew you could expect more cooked up back there than nachos and hotdogs. It wasn’t uncommon to find lima beans and cornbread in the daily menu. She loved her job and her customers. Dale was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, and spent much of her early life working and volunteering in the Santa Rosa County school system.

Dale enjoyed creating beautiful flower beds and grew the biggest elephant ears with her green thumb. She loved being outdoors and fishing. Known as everyone’s mom, she loved to entertain, front porch conversations, cooking for others and spending time with family.  Her proudest accomplishment was being Nana. She’ll be remembered for her fried chicken, cornbread, and really anything she cooked. She loved fiercely and was a strong presence in many lives while here on earth.

Dale is survived by two children, Stephanie (Scott) Overstreet of Acworth, Georgia and T.C. (Royland) Crow of Milton, Florida; two grandchildren, Spencer Overstreet and Shane Overstreet; and by two grand-doggies, Sonny and Snoop. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois I. (Kennedy) Stokes; and husband, Terry C. Crow.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted. Memorial services are being planned for a later date in Florida. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com
