Donna J. Reeb, age 82, of Leonidas, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Birch AFC in Leonidas.
Donna was born on November 30, 1940, in Sturgis, a daughter to the late Wayne Frohriep and Wava (Snook) Vanek. Donna graduated from Sturgis High School with the class of 1959. She achieved her LPN license and worked as a nurse at the Froh Home in Sturgis for 20 years until retiring.
On October 26, 1963, Donna married her husband of 57 years, David N. Reeb at the Sturgis Church of the Nazarene. David preceded her in death on August 14, 2021.
Donna was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Colon. She was fully emersed in her family and church. Donna was always the first one to show up with a meal or offer to cook for any occasion. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Donna liked to challenge her mind with crossword puzzles and care for her family above all.
Surviving Donna are her children: Steven Reeb of Bronson, Catherine (Charles) Silvey of Conway, South Carolina, Wendy (Eric) Rohrer of Florence, South Carolina, and David (Julie) Reeb of Colon, two grandchildren: Austin (AnnaRose) Silvey, and Ashley Silvey, a great grandson Bryson Silvey, and siblings: Sharon Frohriep, Phillip Vanek, Phyllis Kahila, Ed Vanek.
Besides her parents, Wayne and Wava, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, David Reeb.
Following in her wish’s cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the wonderful life of Donna will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 1:00 at the New Life Assembly of God Church with Pastor Angie West officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the New Life Assembly of God Church. Envelopes will be available at the church and the Schipper Funeral Home.
