An Illinois man was arrested over the weekend following a pursuit that ended in Sturgis.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman said deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop Sunday near Front Street and Halfway Road in Burr Oak.
The motorist refused to stop and sped from the scene. The pursuit ended near the intersection of Lakeview Avenue and Lafayette Street.
The suspect, a 21-year-old man from Bourbonnais, Ill., was charged with fleeing and eluding, and carrying a concealed weapon, deputies said.
