James Kevin “Jim” Bonine, age 59, of Three Rivers, passed away on September 1, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
He was born August 15, 1964 in Three Rivers, the son of Jerome L. and Glennis A. (Umlor) Bonine, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1982.
Jim was a dedicated employee at Day International from 1983-2000 and Flint Group from 2000-2020.
He was a very loving grandfather to his three grandchildren, and enjoyed cheering on his favorite sports teams: University of Michigan, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Detroit Lions. He was also a big NASCAR fan, with Dale Earnhardt his favorite driver.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his son, Jacob (Sandy) Bonine; daughter, Sarah Bonine; grandchildren, James Bonine, Delila Bonine, and Carter Green; brother, Buzz (Amy) Bonine; sister, Bridgette (Gary) Lusk; half-sister, Lenee Petrovich.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced when available.
