Limited details are being released about a car-versus-pedestrian fatal crash Monday night in Fabius Township.
According to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called around 10:30 p.m. to U.S. 131, near the Broadway Road intersection.
The pedestrian, a 16-year-old female from Three Rivers, succumbed to her injuries after being struck by a car. Her name is not being released pending family notification. The driver of the vehicle was not injured, authorities said.
