$100,000 lottery prize for Cass County man

A Cass County man recently claimed a $100,000 prize from Michigan State Lottery.

Herman Baker, a Vandalia resident, won the prize through the lottery’s Powerball drawing Aug. 28.

Baker matched four of the five numbers and also matched the Powerball number for a $50,000 win. Baker purchased the Power Play option, which doubled his base prize.

The ticket was purchased at the Three Rivers Shell station on North Main Street.
