Dennis Baker, 54

Dennis Samuel Baker, age 64, of Mendon, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his home and surrounded by family. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on May 4, 1959 the son of Marion J. and Corene (Cox) Baker. He attended Eureka Heights and Truman Schools. For most of his working life, Dennis was employed by Fisher’s Roofing in the Metro-Detroit area. He retired fifteen years ago and moved to Mendon. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising chickens.

Dennis is survived by a daughter, Denise “Missy” Baker of Taylor; sister, Diana Barnes of Sturgis; brothers, Daniel (Pam) Baker of Taylor, Donald Baker of Sturgis, and Dale (Debbie) Baker of Mendon; and by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David Baker.
