Great Start Collaborative of St. Joseph County has announced details about its latest parenting class.
A new course, “Connecting With Your Teen,” is targeted to those parenting teens. It is adapted from the concepts of Conscious Discipline to support healthy relationships.
It will be presented Nov. 11 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Centreville.
“Conscious Discipline Journey,” a 10-session course presented online only, will equip educators and parents with a foundational understanding of the Conscious Discipline Brain State Model.
E-Learning sessions start Jan. 15. In-person courses, however, are offered Oct. 28 and Nov. 18 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. All 10 sessions are covered between the two dates.
