Kalamazoo airport to host TSA PreCheck application center

The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport is hosting another TSA PreCheck application center.

Residents of Southwest Michigan can enroll in the Transportation Security Administrationā€™s TSA PreCheckĀ® program at the Airport from Nov. 6 through Nov. 10.

Airport director Craig Williams said AZO is a convenient location to sign up for the program that enables enrolled travelers to experience an expedited security screening process. It allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on, in select TSA airport checkpoint screening lanes. The temporary office will be located in the airport terminal.

More than 200 airports participate in TSA PreCheck nationwide and more than 70 airlines take part in the program.

To register for the upcoming TSA PreCheck enrollment event, potential participants are encouraged to visit the Airport TSA pre-check website.

Application fee is $78.
