A medical emergency is the likely cause of a four-vehicle crash last week in Cass County.
Edwardsburg Police officers were summoned at 3:30 p.m. Thursday to an area on Main Street, just west of M-62, where a 42-year-old man lost control of his vehicle. It rear-ended a car driven by a 60-year-old man.
The second vehicle collided with an eastbound automobile, driven by a 43-year-old man, and continued west on Main Street before striking an eastbound car driven by a 69-year-old man.
All four drivers, along with three passengers, were transported to area hospitals, authorities said.
