Greg Pant. 64

Gregory Arthur Pant, age 64, of Bronson, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 16, 2023 at his home due to injuries sustained in a pole barn fire.

He was born September 30, 1959 in Sturgis, son of the late Richard A. and Shirley (Krontz) Pant.

Greg resided in Bronson since 2006 coming from White Pigeon, where he lived for many years. His early life was spent in Sturgis where he was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1977.

On February 2, 1980 he married Elizabeth Durst at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Pigeon.

Greg retired in 2021 from CrossRoads Recreational Vehicles in Topeka, Indiana following several years of dedicated employment.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Dale Carnegie. Greg had a true love and appreciation for the outdoors and a passion for hunting, especially when he was sharing that time with his son. Greg’s greatest love was his family. His grandchildren meant the world to him and he could always be counted on to be in attendance at each and every one of their many sporting events and activities.

Greg is survived by his loving and dedicated wife: Elizabeth; son: Joshua (Billie) Pant of White Pigeon; daughter: Jessica Pant of White Pigeon; grandchildren: Domminick and Hunter Pant, Wyatt Carunchia, Jarrett Pichallis and Jessilynn Wynn; brothers: Jeffrey (Sandy) Pant and Bryan (Kim) Pant both of Sturgis and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Lynn Sprowl and brothers: Richard Joseph Pant and Douglas W. Pant.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
