Constantine schools to create community engagement committee

Constantine Public Schools is creating a new committee in an effort to get more feedback from the public.

Superintendent Joe Holloway said the Community Engagement Committee will be comprised of community members who wish to play a role in the district, its goals and its success.

Holloway said he would like to see the committee bridge the gap between the school district and the school community.

He said committee members do not need to have a student in the district. Holloway noted alumni, parents, members of the business community and anyone interested in seeing the district thrive should consider joining.

An inaugural meeting to provide more information about the new committee takes place at 5 p.m. Monday at the high school media center.

More information can be provided by Holloway. His email address is jholloway@constps.org.
